Alessandro is a Master of Olympic Fencing (3rd level Head Coach SNaQ – National Qualifications System for Sports Operators) and a Master of Historical and Artistic Fencing (3rd level Head Coach IMAQS – International Masters of Arms Qualification System), certified by the Italian Fencing Federation and the National Academy of Fencing in Naples. He has been teaching Historical Fencing since 2010 and Olympic Fencing since 2017.
He is the founder, Head Coach, and Technical Director of ASD Accademia Scherma Alba, where he teaches and coordinates courses in Olympic and Historical Fencing, and Stage Combat. He is also listed in the national register of Tutors and is an Instructor in training courses for aspiring fencing coaches organized by the Italian Fencing Federation (FIS) and the National Fencing Academy (ANS).
He is the author of the Armizare series, the first Italian work to compare and comment on all currently known versions of Fior di Battaglia by Fiore dei Liberi, the oldest surviving Italian fencing treatise.
In 2015 he placed among the top four Italian competitors at the SPQHema Tournament in Rome and was selected for the Italian National Team at the IFHEMA Historical Fencing World Championship for the two-handed sword discipline.
As a coach, he has collected more than thirty medals in official competitions in Historical Fencing, Olympic Fencing, and Choreographed Combat.
Since 2019 he has been registered as a Weapons Master and Stunt Coordinator among the professionals of the Torino Piemonte Film Commission, collaborating on several film and television productions, including Assistant Fight Director for the music video Irama – Lentamente (Sanremo – Italian Song Festival 2025) and Sword Master for the short film FIORE (winner of the Medieval Italy Award 2023) and FIORE 2 – The Lynx and the Viper, directed by Alberto Mattea. Since 2021 he has served as a Provincial Delegate for the Italian Fencing Federation.

Alessandro je mistrem sportovního šermu (trenér 3. úrovně SNaQ – Národního systému kvalifikací sportovních pracovníků) a mistrem historického a scénického šermu (trenér 3. úrovně IMAQS – Mezinárodního systému kvalifikací mistrů šermu). Je držitelem certifikací Italské šermířské federace a Národní akademie šermu v Neapoli. Historický šerm vyučuje od roku 2010 a sportovní šerm od roku 2017.
Je zakladatelem, hlavním trenérem a technickým ředitelem ASD Accademia Scherma Alba, kde vyučuje a vede kurzy sportovního a historického šermu a scénického boje. Je rovněž zapsán v národním registru tutorů a působí jako instruktor ve vzdělávacích kurzech pro budoucí trenéry šermu, které pořádají Italská šermířská federace (FIS) a Národní akademie šermu (ANS).
Je autorem série Armizare, prvního italského díla, které porovnává a komentuje všechny v současnosti známé verze Fior di Battaglia od Fiore dei Liberiho, nejstaršího dochovaného italského šermířského traktátu.
V roce 2015 se na turnaji SPQHema v Římě umístil mezi čtyřmi nejlepšími italskými závodníky a byl vybrán do italské reprezentace pro mistrovství světa v historickém šermu IFHEMA v disciplíně obouruční meč.
Jako trenér získal se svými svěřenci více než třicet medailí v oficiálních soutěžích v historickém šermu, sportovním šermu a choreografickém boji.
Od roku 2019 je registrován jako Weapons Master a Stunt Coordinator mezi profesionály Torino Piemonte Film Commission a spolupracoval na několika filmových a televizních produkcích. Působil mimo jiné jako Assistant Fight Director při natáčení videoklipu Irama – Lentamente (Sanremo – Festival italské písně 2025) a jako Sword Master u krátkého filmu FIORE (vítěz Medieval Italy Award 2023) a filmu FIORE 2 – The Lynx and the Viper (Rys a zmije) režiséra Alberta Mattey.
Od roku 2021 rovněž působí jako provinční delegát Italské šermířské federace.
